New members are welcome at the German-American Social Club of Cape Coral. Being German is not a requirement - just an interest in the German culture and a desire to partake in the activities of the club.

New members must be sponsored by a current member of at least one year. Increasingly, snowbirds from Germany, who spend part of the year in the United States and part of the year in Germany are joining the club, providing for a congenial mix and the opportunity to make new friends from both sides of the Atlantic.

If you are not ready to become a new member just yet and want to see what the club is all about first, a limited social membership is available from the social membership hostesses Pauline Romano and Hannelore Brown as they greet you at the door. In addition to providing you with a name badge, they will help in every way they can, directing you and even going so far as to search out a member for whom you may be looking.

Application cards are available at the Club Office or at the Edelweiss Bar.
